It's confirmed and official. Doctor number Thirteen is Jodie Whittaker. Jodie is known for roles in ITV's Broadchurch and the St. Trinian's films.
Of course, her gender is causing many so called fans of the show to have a meltdown. Doctor Who, is an alien who can regenerate into a completely different body. So why can't the Doctor regenerate into a woman?
In the final episode of the tenth series, we saw Twelve trying to stop his regeneration and meeting the First Doctor.
