TRENDING: Berets

It's official: Berets are trending.  Yes, you read that correctly, but I'll say it again just for confirmation: Berets are trending.  The good news is, you don't have to be Che Guevara or working for the French Resistance to pull off this trend.  Sure, it may seem scary, but the key with a beret is to make it your own.

Berets can be worn low on the forehead, or further back, more like a skull cap, with a bit of sideswept hair or bangs sticking out under the front.  You can fluff it up where it's sort of standing up, or you can flatten it.  Wear it tilted on the side of your head.  Wear it with a brooch to accessorize.  There are endless ways to style a beret.  My favorite thing about a beret though, is how well it travels.  It flattens to take up virtually zero space in a bag.  You can also roll it up, if necessary.  It won't wrinkle!  No muss, no fuss.  Here are some of our favorite berets to get in on this trend.

1.  F & N French Winter Hat
