The Cotswolds is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty spanning six counties in England; Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, Somerset, Worcestershire and Wiltshire.



With its lush, rolling green hills and villages that look like they have been preserved in time, the Cotswolds is a must for all those who are looking to take a trip somewhere peaceful and have a trip back in time too.

When you're not exploring the beautifully quaint little villages of the Cotswolds like Castle Combe, a perfectly preserved village in the county of Wiltshire. Castle Combe is a popular spot for tourists and has been featured in a number of TV and Film productions, such as the 1967 film 'Doctor Dolittle' and an episode of Agatha Christie's Poirot.

There's also the Warwickshire - Gloucestershire Railway is also another wonderful way to view the Cotswolds. This volunteer operated heritage steam railway runs a round trip of 26 miles between Cheltenham Racecourse and Buckland, cutting through some of the most spectacular scenery of the Cotswolds.

There are also many tours that will be perfect for the rambler, walking through Moreton-in-Marsh is an experience you'll never forget. The village offers what most of the Cotswolds is famous for; Rolling hills, lush green pastures and fresh, country air.
