Stranger Things On Halloween

The hit Netflix series 'Stranger Things' began in 2016.

Happy Halloween everybody! Might I suggest watching Stranger Things? We just finished a binge of the second season and it is magnificent! This show has a longevity and we are looking forward to the third series! We think today of all days is the best day to have a binge of it too!




For those unfamiliar with the show, it's a show created by the Duffer Brothers and is a homage to pop culture of the 1980s. It's science fiction/horror and the pacing, look and feel of the show makes you believe it could have been actually shot in the 1980s with HD cameras.

The stand out in the show are the actors who play the kids, Mike, Eleven/Jane, Will, Dustin and Lucas. These were kids who weren't even born in the 90s and yet they look like they were born in the 70s in this show. They do such a great job that you really believe that Hawkins, Indiana was like this in the 1980s.

The Duffer brothers have created a really great homage to the 1980s with this show and the second series has proved to be an epic binge watch and we are all now eagerly awaiting the third season.

This show has become a huge pop culture phenomenon, especially with its retro twist on things. There are Funko Pops, a DVD box set that looks like VHS, Sweatshirts from Hawkins Middle School AV Club and the soundtrack to the series.
